Meet Your Foot Care Nurse

My name is Elizabeth Baish — a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Certified Foot Care Nurse credential. I founded Poudre Foot Care because I kept seeing the same gap: older adults and people with complex health needs who simply couldn’t get to a clinic for the routine foot care that keeps serious complications at bay.

My nursing career has centered on community and home-based care. Over the years I’ve worked alongside PACE programs — Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly — where I saw firsthand how much a thoughtful, in-home visit could mean to someone who had stopped going out. Foot care, which so many people think of as a small thing, turned out to matter enormously: it affected mobility, independence, sleep, and confidence.

My certification as a Certified Foot Care Nurse goes beyond basic nail trimming. It covers circulation assessment, skin and nail pathology, diabetes-specific risks, and patient education — so I can catch early warning signs and connect you with the right providers when needed.

What I care most about is making each visit feel comfortable and unhurried. Foot care can carry real vulnerability, especially if feet have been neglected for a while or are affected by diabetes, neuropathy, or circulation changes. I bring a nonjudgmental approach to every appointment. There is no situation I haven’t seen, and my only goal is to help you feel better and stay safer on your feet.

I serve older adults, homebound individuals, residents of assisted living and memory care communities, and anyone in Northern Colorado who needs professional foot care brought to them. No transportation required — I come fully equipped to your home, facility, or wherever you receive care.
